Up on the slopes of Signal Hill in Cape Town, this modern and chic apartment brings 50 shades of grey to Tamboerskloof. The grey palette, from light to dark, gives this double story home it’s character, echoing the vistas of the majestic Table Mountain. Tonal blue and green accents were used to lift the palette in a fresh and lively way.
Using the 7th natural wonder of the world, Table Mountain again as inspiration, the bathrooms feature rectangular rock tiles clad onto the walls as well as geometric shapes such as the steel-framed pentagon mirror, square basin and rectangular toilet suspended from the wall.
On the second floor, the patio features a pool and a Jacuzzi, as well as an outdoor shower. In the evenings this space provides an incredible sight to behold, the glittering city lights with the mountain framing up the view.
